Our love story: not special but very loyal

This is the most unforgettable wedding I’ve seen come across Snippet & Ink in recent memory, so grab a tissue, you just might need it…

On November 12 2016, Fabi & Josh married in a sunset ceremony in Nashville. One month and one day later, Josh’s life was taken by cancer.

Today I am honored to bring their stories to everyone. Fabio has made it open to me to ask all the questions and answer them with this grace. Will you marry you and know they’re dying? This is something most of us do not want to think about, but both of them have a very good attitude: “Our wedding is not an issue we can not experience. We all have a common future plan, including wedding, marriage, family and Many adventures. You do not put these things aside, waiting to see whether the upstairs man will give you more time. You live there. “

Josh and I met at a bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville in September 2014. There are some aspects in life that you just can’t control; one of those is timing. It was clear from day one that we were placed in each others lives for a reason. It was only two short months after we met that Josh was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer – Synovial Sarcoma of the lower abdomen. He had no idea why I wasn’t running as fast as I could in the opposite direction after hearing his diagnosis. The truth is, I knew what I had found and I wasn’t going to let it go that easily.

If anyone believes in love, it’s me. When Josh learned about his diagnosis I already knew I loved him. The word cancer wasn’t going to change my feelings for him, or my desire to take a chance on a future together.

The thing about life is there are no guarantees. None of us are promised tomorrow we were fortunate to have an opportunity to experience something that many go a lifetime never knowing.

Pinewood wedding

Megan and Zach’s wedding in August. From gorgeous wildflowers bouquets to the gorgeous “best dog” Sawyer, their day is a dream.

Even though their first sight and ritual feel a few drops of rain, the cloudy skies create a breathtaking atmosphere. As they exchanged their heartfelt oaths on the shores of the Little Truckee, the air filled with undeniable passion for each other.

As the sun goes down and the stars come out, their families and friends toast the newlyweds, play lawn games and dance on the night celebrating.
